The curriculum at primary level is a balance of curricular subjects and co curricular activities aiming at all round development of a child’s personality. The child is at concrete operational stage where she can think logically. The academic subjects like mathematics and sciences which require reasoning and logic are the focal point at this level. Communication skills remain at the centre stage.
An integrated curricular approach focusing on activity based learning, enhancing listening and speaking skills, developing healthy mind and body to achieve holistic development is followed. The curricular subjects are transacted through project method and activities making learning joyful.
The core subjects offered are:
- Social Science
- Computer Science
In class V, students are offered third language. They may choose any one of the following language:
Co curricular activities are a mixed blend of various sports, yoga, dance, vocal music, instrumental music, art and craft, clay modelling, origami, robotics, taekwondo, chess, skating and tennis.
- There are no examinations for class III, only weekly tests are conducted.
- Class IV and V students appear for pen and paper examination at end of each term.
- Weekly test are conducted for classes IV & V according to the CCE pattern.
- The overall progress of the child throughout the year is monitored
